Meetings are organised on a monthly basis from October to April each year and are held in the Renfield St. Stephen's Church Centre in Bath Street, Glasgow. During the current session speakers have included the well-known paddle steamer expert Stewart Cameron who related the tale of the MacBrayne paddlers, CAL MAC's Technical Director Tom McNeill who described the problems associated with the design and operation of today's sophisticated ferries, Scottish Office Minister Brian Wilson who provided members with food for thought on the operation of the Company from the standpoint of the political arena and Ian McCrorie who relayed, in his own inimitable style, the story of the various DALES.
